ABOUT YOUR IN-HOME NEWBORN SESSION
An in-home newborn session is a wonderful way for your memories to be captured. It can sound intimidating - having strangers in your home when you've just given birth! But don't worry. As a mother of 3 myself I completely understand what the house of a newborn baby will look like, AND I'm completely sympathetic! Here are some suggestions and recommendations.
1.) Find the room with the best light for the time of day we schedule. I will be glad to walk your house ahead of time with you at no additional charge.
2.) Get your all white bedding out. Off-white, cream, and light grey work well too. Dark colors and prints can compete for the attention in the photographs. I highly suggest white with a light filled room.
3.) Do NOT over exert yourself and clean your whole house! Only clean the rooms we've decided to use.
4.) I will spend approximately 1 hour on a basket pose with your baby, and the rest of the session will be a lifestyle and posed family session with you, your baby, and relatives.
