Here are *some of my faves from Sarah & Chase's Wedding at Rolling Hill Farms in Monroe, NC. I tried to narrow it down to 10, but there were so many good sequences! The first few images are of "Daisy", the flower girl. I gave her her very own shout out on my facebook page, which I'll copy and paste below.
There is only one word to describe this wedding-FUN!! It was a cheerleader wedding, and the bridesmaids would break out into cheers randomly. They even hoisted the bride up as you can see in one of the photos I uploaded here. The atmosphere was full of love and pure fun!
I included part of a sequence in these photos of "the letter". The Groom wrote the Bride a very touching letter, and everyone in the Bride's chambers was crying-I was almost in tears! What a touching moment. I even included a "formal" in this set, which is not customary for me. It was actually an outtake, but of course it ended up being one of my faves. The flower girl is running OUT of the shot haha. Everyone is relaxed. Some people are speaking to one another, others are facing the camera, and still others are making dynamic gestures. It was a very diverse, dynamic, and fun group, so I really feel that outtake captured the Wedding Party.
Flowers Girls have a special place in my heart. I think it's because it's the first time you get to dress up really pretty and you have something super important to do. For those of us who actually remember being flower girls, we also remember how gorgeous the bride was that day. We get older and dream about our own fairytale wedding, and a lot of times it's based on that event. When you're young it seems like such a huge thing. Most of them take their jobs very seriously, and little "Daisy" was no exception. She placed petals with purpose down the aisle, and she even decided that after the ceremony she needed to clean them up! Daisy's real name is not Daisy-that's who she was going as by the time I got there haha! Very fitting for a flower girl, though. Anyway, I just wanted to take a minute to do a quick shout out to little Daisy.
